Trey Weir

Field and Fundraising Advisor

Trey served as the Operations Director at the James Place for seven years. He resigned from that role in December 2019 and now resides in Brentwood, TN, with his wife, Rachel. Because of Trey's hands-on experience at the James Place for so many years, he serves the board with a wealth of information and unique expertise, which will help inform culturally-appropriate decisions. Trey works directly with our Ugandan Board Chairman, Surj, as the Vice-Chair of the Ugandan Board. We are excited about Trey's move from Uganda to the U.S. as he desires to ensure that our ministry work continues to follow the vision and mission of HEAL. He has a strong passion for our family preservation focus and will continue to serve the ministry in many areas in the states. Trey is currently enrolled at MTSU to complete his construction degree.
