Farming God's Way Training

On July 14, we held a Farming God's Way training session at The James Place focused on garden preparation. Our goal was to equip all participants with the skills and knowledge they need for effective gardening.

From beginners to seasoned practitioners, people with all levels of farming skills showed up to this session - and ALL were welcomed! Sixteen people in total attended this session and were equipped to implement sustainable gardening practices in their own life.

This session began with an introduction to the Farming God's Way approach, emphasizing its key principles of minimal soil disturbance, permanent soil cover, and crop rotation. Practical demonstrations were provided to showcase these principles in action, highlighting the benefits of each practice. Hands-on activities, visual aids, and group discussions engaged the participants, as they learned about how to implement this approach in their gardens.

The participants loved it! We received lots of positive feedback, and many expressed their appreciation for the practical demonstrations and the trainers' ability to explain complex concepts simply and understandably. They found the hands-on activities especially helpful in reinforcing their understanding of garden preparation techniques.

Even better, some participants expressed their interest in continuing the training to learn more about other aspects of Farming God's Way. We can’t wait to share more knowledge with those interested and welcome them back to learn more about Farming God’s Way!
