HEAL Ministries focus is on the abandoned women and children of Uganda, specifically in the communities and slums of Masese, the Works, and Rippon Fishing Village in Jinja. We focus on this population because to make a difference we reach out to the “least of these” and meet them where they are physically and spiritually. Abandonment is a complex problem and our desire is to break the cycle. Our first step toward this process is to mentor women and children through our programs and help them build CONFIDENCE. When an abandoned woman has confidence, she comes to the realization that there are options other than abandoning her own children to survive. Confidence leads to family security and self-sustainability. To learn more about our ministry, check out our blog.
